 Step Up  For Students Scholarships

Step Up For Students is a program that manages multiple scholarships for students in the state of Florida. Brush Arbor Christian School accepts two of the scholarship programs offered by Step Up, these include, The Family Empowerment Scholarship and The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.

  • The Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) is Florida’s first voucher program for low and middle income students. FES is funded from the Florida Education Finance Program, an operational formula that funds K-12 student choices in district schools, charter schools and private schools. The Family Empowerment Scholarship may be used towards private school tuition and fees.

  • The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship gives families a choice of assistance toward private school tuition and fees.

The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and The Family Empowerment Scholarship are based on financial need. Both scholarships allow parents to find new learning environments for their children.

"Step Up For Students empowers parents to pursue and engage in the most appropriate learning options for their children, with an emphasis on families who lack the information and financial resources to access these options. By pursuing this mission, we help public education fulfill the promise of equal opportunity."

At Brush Arbor, Step Up for Students covers all of our fees and tuition. Scholarship parents must pay the $100 deposit upon enrollment. Scholarship parents will be financially responsible to cover all extended care and lunch fees.
